Bailey Manor is a non-profit Ministry which was established to meet the needs of PCA members and other retired Christians.
It opened on September 1, 1991 and was a vision brought to life by Dr. Thomas Cross.
Bailey Manor was originally Bailey Memorial Hospital and was given to Carolina Christian Ministries, in July of 1990, by an anonymous donor. In September of 1993, the Assisted Living facility was opened. Later that year, the apartments on the first floor of the West Wing were finished.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control licensed the Assisted Living. Since that time, the East Wing on the second floor has also been completed as well as the first floor of the North Wing, bringing our total number of apartments to 32, in addition to 17 beds in Assisted Living. In 2003, the Beautiful Anderson Chapel was added.
Bailey Manor continues to meet the needs of residents in Assisted Living and in Independent Living apartments. Assisted Living makes provisions for those who need assistance in matters of bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and medication management. Independent Living offers an Independent Care Aid, 3 home-cooked meals daily, weekly housekeeping, transportation to doctors, and more.
Bailey Manor’s only sources of support are the funds paid by the residents and the generous gifts from the Lord’s people. We pray that the Lord will continue to provide the support needed to sustain our mission and ministry.
Please join with us in prayer, and in financial support if you are able, to continue God’s call in the care of retired Christian seniors.
