Have you noticed all of the beautiful yards in Laurens County? The residents at Bailey Manor have. On some of their Friday rides, they will see a yard they find particularly well-kept and will stop. The owner is presented with a “Yard of the Week” certificate which includes 2 free tickets to have a sundae, cone, or cup of ice cream in Bailey Manor’s own Uncle Lester’s Ice Cream Parlor.
Joe Reiland, Assistant Administrator and Activity Director, takes the residents for their Sunday afternoon ride on Fridays. “The residents enjoy looking at those yards that people have taken the extra effort to make beautiful, and we try to reward them for letting us enjoy the beauty of nature,” says Reiland.
